1.5 mi. E of Alaska-Canada boundary and 39 mi. N of Eagle, Porc. Plateau
Named by D. D. Cairnes (Canada Geological Survey Mem. 67, map) in 1911-1912 after trianulation station "Casca" established by the International Boundary Survey on this mountain in 1910. The station, in turn, was named for the "British" steamboat Casca which was engaged in Yukon River trade.
