site of prospectors' camp at junction of Fish Creek and South Fork Koyukuk River, 20 mi. S of Bettles, Kanuti Flats.

History

Name reported in 1899 by G. H. Wonson, Master of the stearmer Dorothy, on his manuscript map of the Koyukuk Rive. One of several temporary capps established by prospectors caught on the river during the winter of 1898-99.
