History of Little Chandler Lake

So named by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1956 for the larger body of water it adjoins, Chandler Lake, which was named by Lieutenant Stoney, U.S. Navy (USN), in 1886, for William E. Chandler, 1835-1917, Secretary of the Navy.
