In Ipnavik River Valley, 13 mi N of Tukuto Lake on the E side of the Ipnavik River, N slope of Brooks Range, 32 mi. N of Howard Pass. 0.5 mile wide.

History

Named by B. H. Kent and I. L. Tailleur, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in 1950, "for a Weasel (type of vehicle) battery that was left behind there."
