About

At the W end of the De Long Mountains near the Chukchi Sea, just N of Kavrorak Lagoon and 14 mi NW of Kivalina, Arctic Slope.

History

Eskimo name reported to refer in meaning to the pointed part of a woman's parka which the hill resembles. Reported in 1950 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
