25 mi SW of Cape Vancouver, extends into Bering Sea, off the N coast of Nunivak Island.
Named "M[ys] Etolina" by the Russians for Captain Adolph Karlovich Etolin, governor of the Russian American colonies, 1841-45, who, with Khromchenko, explored this area in 1821.
