History of Cape Chichagof

Named "Cap Tchitchagoff" by Captain Lutke (1836, p. 258), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN) for Admiral Vasili Iakob Chichagov, Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), who explored the Arctic in 1765-66.
