Urssian name, meaning "Paul" or "Saint Paul," published as "Pavlovskoi Volcan" by Captain Lutke (1836, p. 269), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN); published as "Pavlovskaya Sopka" on a Russian Hydrographic Dept.
