About

Mountain Goats live at higher altitudes often around rocky cliffs and slopes. They can occasionally be solitaire or spotted in herds of up to 30 goats or more.

Adult males are called billies and females are nannies, young goats are kids. Both male and female mountain goats have beards, and horns. Mountain Goats have thick white wool which was used in constructing traditional Chilkat blankets.
