March 13, 2012 - Skiing Fatality at Takhin Ridge
Guide, Robert Liberman, 35 and client Nick Dodov, 26 died in a "huge" avalanche. Both men were properly outfitted with Avalanche gear but were buried in 6-8 ft of snow. Liberman was found dead when uncovered, Dodov was flown to Seattle for treatment where he died the next day.ADN Article
