May 31, 2005 - Mountaineering Fatality at Mount Logan

Mount Logan,

Jessie Aulik, 22, of Calgary was with friend Chris Davis, 34, of Fairbanks, climbing at about 9,500ft when she was swept down the east ridge of Mount Logan and fell about 1,500ft. Aulik died from head injuries. Aulik, who had set a record as youngest person to scale the peak when she was 17, was climbing with a 34-year-old man from Fairbanks, Alaska. CBC Article
