July 15, 2024 - Boating Fatality at Kobuk River
Brandon Sheldon, 30, of Kiana died when his boat capsized on the Kobuk River. The four other passengers on the boat survived. It took 4 days to locate Brandon. There was no report if pfd's were worn or not. ADN Article
