While trying to do a 5-day solo summit, professional mountain guide Matthias Rimml, a 35-year-old professional mountain guide from Tirol, Austria, while traversing between Denali Pass and 17,200-foot plateau, he fell some 200 feet to his death. He is the thirteenth person to die traversing The Autobahn, most while descending.
