Getting There
From Palmer take Glenn Highway to Fishhook Willow Road. Stay on that and it will lead to Hatcher Pass. Before getting to the lodge near the end of the pavement, there is a turn to the left continuing to Hatcher Pass, it is a dirt road. Take that and continue to Hatcher Pass. Continue a few hundred feet down the backside of the pass and you will see Summit Lake.

Summit Lake is a clear lake, located on the backside of Hatcher Pass. It is easily accessed and has a trail that runs around the perimeter of the lake. Camping is not permitted at the lake or near the parking lot.
