Thomas Devine,54 of Chugiak, Matthew Nyman, 43 of Denver, Colorado, and Edward Watson, 50 of Miami, Florida decided to hike in the Northwest Couloir and got caught in an avalanche. They weren't found until the following day. No one had beacons. Devine and Nyman had mountain experience. ADN Article
