Heading in a small lake in the De Long Mountains, flowing N 8 mi. to Driftwood Creek, 1.3 mi upstream from the mouth of Nucleus Creek, 35 mi. NNE of Mesheguk Mountain, Brooks Range.

History

Named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists in 1951 for the kidney-shaped lake at its head.
