0.7 mi. N of the head of Valdez Glacier and on the S side of Stephens Glacier, 19 mi NW of Valdez, Chugach Mts.

History
Named in 1959 by L. E. Nielsen for Edward Cashman, who made a journey from Valdez over Valdez Glacier to the Copper River and back in the winter of 1898-99 while a member of Captain W. R. Abercrombie's Copper River Exploring Expedition.
