About

Subspecies of gray wolves the Alaskan tundra wolf or barren-ground wolf, are generally white or light colored wolves (though dark even black are genetically possible as not rare) living along the coastal arctic tundra from Point Barrow or Utqiagvik (formerly Barrow), all the way to Hudson Bay in Canada.

Alaskan Tundra Wolves can grow to six feet long and up to 180 pounds. Their diet consist mostly on birds, eggs, voles, shrews and other rodents, and caribou.
