cove, extends S to Ernest Sound, 2 mi. E of Menefee Inlet, on E coast of Etolin I., 30 mi. SE of Wrangell, Alex. Arch.

History

Descriptive name given in 1886 by Lieutenant Commander A. S. Snow, U.S. Navy (USN), probably because it is southwest of the southern end of Zimovia Strait. See Southeast Cove.
