Heading on the W slope of Gunsight Mountain in the Talkeetna Mountains and flowing NW to Squaw Creek, 55 mi. NE of Palmer. 3.2 miles long.

History

Named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1956 for the fossil clam belonging to the genus Inoceramus, which is abundantly found in the valley.
