About

Heads in glacier at 582130N, 1334455W, flows west to Taku Inlet, 16 miles east-northeast of Juneau, Coast Mountains. 10 miles long.

History

Named in 1932 by B. D. Stewart, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in honor of the late Charles E. Davidson, who served as United States Surveyor-General and ex-officio Secretary of Alaska from October 18, 1913, to August 8, 1919, on which date he was drowned in Taku Inlet a short distance from the mouth of this stream.
