flows NE to Kuna River, 15 mi. ESE of Liberator Lake, Brooks Range; 16 miles long.
Probably the Eskimo word "anaq" meaning "dung; excrement;" reported in 1950 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists. See Anak Creek.
