About

In the northern part of Kodiak Island, highest point on the island, 6.5 mi WNW of Hidden Basin at the W end of Ugak Bay; Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge.

History

Named in 1963 by the Kodiak and Aleutian Islands Historical Society Inc., for Stephan Glotv, commander of the ship Andrean and Natalia, who in 1763 was the first white man to land on Kodiak Island.
