Aguliuk Point a cape in Alaska
on NW coast of Umnak I., Aleutian Islands.
Aleut name published by Captain Tebenkov (1852, map 25), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), as "Mys Agulyuk" or "Cape Agulyuk" and "Mys Chidakh" or "Cape Chidakh." According to R. H. Geoghegan, these names are from the Aleut "aguliq" meaning "sparrow-hawk" and "cidaq", meaning "young birds."
