Akun Bay a bay in Alaska
on NE coast of Akun I., Krenitzin Islands., Aleutian Islands. 5.5 miles wide.
Named in 1888 by U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) for the island. Captain Tebenkov (1852, map 26), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), published the name Zaliv Recheshnoy, meaning "little river bay."
